John decided to walk down the mountain towards a cluster of lights that he thought were city lights. He had no idea where he was, and so tried to back track along this trail but it's gone. At one point john came to an abrupt stop because water had flown off a cliff 100 foot in front of him. If he didn't find shelter soon, he might get hypothermia and just die out here.
