The Sonship of Titus Is a Sonship of Paul
Paul situates his message and ministry within an escatological frame. The truth into which paul is guiding the church is one that accords with godliness, or one that leads to godliness. Paul's own ministry is an expression of this. He addresses titus as his true chil in a common faith. It is possible that it was through the ministry of the apostle paul that titus was converted.
