The Overhyping of AI in the Short and Long Term
History has shown whenever new technology comes, we tend to overestimate the short term. And I think that's what we're doing with AI. We're overhyping it in the short term and we're underestimating its impact in the long term. The Bank of America did a study of our, excuse me, fund managers, what do you think AI means? And 45% of them, the biggest answer was better profitability. You think AI means nothing in the world changes. No, it's going to be a wholesale change in the economy all at once.
