The Importance of Mutual Trust in Communities

I was chatting about this with my mum yesterday because I told her I was doing this interview. She said there are lots of practices which you look at and are horrified by. And she was like, the uncomfortable truth is people do these things. They think it's what's best for their kids. So you have to build trust with communities and change things like that. Where exactly is the line between dialogue, communication and coming down hard with the law? That's an open question. It's a pragmatic question, not one you can solve in theory.
