Introduction

When the spirit was given on the day of pentecost, we heard the gospel proclaimed in many languages all at once. The word of god was received by a multitude of people and went from being a select sect of jews to including every tribe and tongue. And so as we hear the teaching text each sunday in this teaching series, we are rooting ourselves in the person of the holy spirit. We want to hear tho the word proclaimed in different languages that are represented from within this community. To that end, bella is going to come and read our teaching text for us to day.
