Fulfillment is also an aspect of self compassion, right? S if we want to help ourselves and be well, we really need to value what's important to us. Men ae raise feeling entitled to get their s needs met. Women are valued for ben self sacrificing. That's how people like us, that's how we get our sense of worth. And so in order to feel worthy, we have to give up what's important - which actually undermines our own sense of self.
