My Family Did Not Join This Year

Every 4th of July, our family joins them in floating down the Mac Coquita River. After a few hours on the river, my cousin notices a nice boot sticking out of the water caught up in a few branches. As it turns out, a local man went missing from the campground upstream in November of 2020 during bad weather. He was missing for nearly eight months. We are glad he was finally able to be located and put to rest.
