Is the Navy Insubordinate?
The movie has a certain cynicism about the military, even if it's pre political. The decommissioning of this warship ah, is an opportunity for garry busy's character to indulge his most greediest impulses. But there isn't there he's insubordinate. He hates the military. It's just like, ultimately, he does the navy's work. And so it's both a cynicism about theMilitary and also something about anger or disappointment with the end of the cold war.
