The world is our enemy, and we have to fight against it. The practices of jesus are how we fight the world, the flesh and the devil. There's a direct line of causation between church attendants and how colonized or assimilated people are by the world. Sometimes you can even tell by what time people show up for church in the morning and where they sit. And so i've done all that to say well given me so much hope for our future,. But at the very end, it's just like the scathing indictment on America since the founding fathers - not just as america since the sixties but also  the whole middle ages.
