Direct to Consumer Genetic Testing
Some companies have come under criticism for making claims about the medical benefits or applications of these sorts of tests. It's difficult because a lot of people don't fully understand what the testing can tell you and what it can't tell you. I think if people understood that, I'd have a lot less issues with the direct consumer testing. There's also something that there's a big discrepancy between European people of non-European descent and those from non-European descent. We need to find out more about how genetics started; we're in a time when DNA is very interesting.
