As the ipod sold more units, David's team's work started being directly evaluated by steve jobs. i was in the group that wrote all those aps. My boss would have a weekly meeting with steve and he'd go and show him what wehad worked on. And usually he had questions like, you know, ok, this photo sap or this notes ap. But often stev would do something totally different.
