William Faulkner's Life and Times

Faulkner's original manuscripts were actually written in color, coded depending on what time era you were in. He was forced to just go to one color black and he had to use italics to kind of tell you not that time was shifting. You're going to see since you have if you haven't read this yet, particularly section one with Benji, you're going to jump around even mid sentence where you start off in one decade in the sentence. By the end of the sentence, you're in a different decade with different people around the main character.
