It just struck me as a really remarkable scene. And that's the moment where they were there like, oh no, we're not gonna, there's gonna be a war. We're gonna blow up the opium ship and yeah. And you also noticed that we never learn his Chinese name. Right, we don't. It's never, it's never told. There's a good reference, or not reference, but this reminds me a bit of the Neil Stevenson book,. The Diamond Age Where the one of our protagonists winds up going deep into what is Chinese territory to meet with an Imperial High Commissioner.
