When i was 16, my father was stationed at the pentagon in washington. And one day a and i was a surfer, i'd become a surfer when we lived in hawaii for a short spell. Surfer magazine would arrive every month with an article about how top surfers are using ancient indian culture to improve their performance. My mother pointed out that y o g a meant ' hungarians get milk and they heat it overnight, and they put culture in it, and it turns into this thing' So i took that home and didn't come out of my room for the next three days, reading that book from cover to cover. Shortly after that, i went
