As the p h gets above mostly like six, two, six, five, you'll see a pretty sharp decrease in how certain nutrients are available for plant uptake. So it sos very interesting, because what you have available in your soil solution, or in your soil environment, will interact back and forth with your water source. I think the mean thing to be concerned about is the p h and in the buffering, because that does have a effect on on p h swings.
