Morgan is an artificial intelligence system that analyzes mortgage data. It can answer any question you would ask a best human loan officer, underwriter and they'll have the answers. Most answers it'll give it to you depending on our complexity will give you an answer in a couple of seconds. How involved were you with the development process? I was involved in most of the core, what I call the kernel of it, that does all the mortgage processing. And after that, I'm involved in guiding. Like I look at the designs that the engineers and the architects come up and I give them suggestions and review the project direction.

Patrick Donley sits down with Pavan Agarwal about how his company, Sun West Mortgage is using artificial intelligence to improve the mortgage underwriting process with a product they call Morgan. Morgan utilizes what's called empathetic technology to expedite and enhance the entire loan approval process.
