"It was remarkable to see him. I kind of didn't recognize him because he's grown his beard out and he's now got this enormous big ginger beard," says the doctor. He is now in a different hospital, but still treating guys coming off the battlefield with blast wounds. "He wanted to say that he wants allies to think more long term rehabilitation for people who need prosthetics or something like that", she adds.
