Christ has swept the field clear of all rival gods, and we're at the point now. Whether you like it or not, whether it's christ or what, i think the answer is, its christ for nihalism. I'm really dubious that atheism as a dominant cultural way of engaging with reality leads anywhere other than nihilism. Ultimately, people can continue to borrow from christian capital that they've inherited. But, but that's all simply borrowed from ethics that are derived entirely from christianity.
