Soy is a fantastic bean or legume, but there are a lot of very interesting pulses and beans that should be part of your diet. I don't recommend more than four servings of soy per day because no matter how helpful any given food is, you don't want to place too much emphasis on it. In fact, if that individual who consumed the three liters of soy milk had consumed threeliters of cow's milk, he would have exceeded the safe upper limit for calcium intake. Those kind of extreme examples really are not informative at all.
