Chemistry Is the Central Science

Chemistry is often referred to as the central science. In economics we have a taxonomy, there's microeconomics and there's macroeconomics. Do similar classifications exist in chemistry? There are many sub-disciplines of chemistry, organic chemistry - that's what I study. But you could put me in a room with any biologist and I probably understand what they're doing at least at an superficial level.
