Pension Portfolios - The Biggest Loss Ever

The US has a trade deficit, meaning less dollars are going in the system. Foreign central banks end up selling their treasuries to support their own currency. That becomes an issue because it's driving high interest rates. Right now the interest rate market has no buyers of bonds. The pension system has just taken the biggest loss ever in the 60-40 portfolio. I've never seen this before.
