Energy efficient appliances typically aren't fast. A full cycle from wash to fully dried is about four hours for me. It depends how much washing are you doing besides your towels. If you're already doing a lot, it might be better for you to outsource. You can probably get your whole day's worth of linen in just one or two loads. And there's so many considerations in this wonderful conversation.
