I Was a Student at Stanford and I Was Studying Development Economics at Stanford University

I was studying development economics and so the head of the Stanford economics department was in a vow, Maoist. This was in the 70s and before sort of the horrors came out. But most of the classes were fairly mainstream. I decided I'd like development economics and most development economists were Marxists. So but there was a little adjunct department which doesn't exist anymore called the Food Research Institute,. Which was very free mark and that was agricultural economics and also some development you know international development economics. That's where I hid out over there and enjoyed it a lot.
