The Politics of Sport

In 1936, Nazi Germany took down signs that said no Jews from public places. China, Qatar and Russia also use sports to obfuscate reality. With Saudi now practically owning the entire sport of golf, it has taken things up a notch. So yes, sport isn't apolitical. It's as political as it gets. And we just have to accept that sports washing was and will always be part of it. Whether we like it or not.
