How to Find a Friend in a School District?

A few parents have said that their two E students have had problems finding friends they can relate to. Do you have suggestions for how to help them find friends? I mean, social media is a huge, huge platform nowadays, and it doesn't even have a friend based in person. There are nice people out there that are more than willing to reach out and chat about certain things.
