Are Hand Sanitizers Necessary?
The components of soap are a detergent, which basically rips the virus apart. If you know how to do a good hand wash procedure and make sure that you get into all the cracks between your fingers, et cetera, then it really ought to be enough to wash your hands with regular soap and water. There's enough in kind of soap to kill a lot of microbes that are present,. And again, I don't necessarily think there would be any added benefit of having these other additional compounds.
