AI is nothing more, nothing more than a concept actually. It's just a reference to any type of machine that's called an agent doing kind of human like or performing human like type of tests. Now AI can be implemented in two ways. One is rule based and many chatbots you would have had experience with are precisely that. And the second way in which AI can implement this through machine learning. This is a bit more elaborate and sophisticated algorithms that actually learn from data that they are fed.
