Is This a Trick or a Curse?

A tall, thin girl dressed in a white gown with thick black hair materialized by my bedside and began to stare at me. She stood there motionless for a few seconds, not saying a word, looking like something out of a japanese horrofilm. Then suddenly she began to speak in a startlingly normal and somewhat friendly voice. And then she took a few steps back and seemed to dissolve into the air. It felt like when you're having a nice dream about kissing a girl, when she disappears just before your lips can meet.
