Is There a Market for Gold?

I think it's inevitable that when you get into a hot market, you'll see the larger companies trying to take over the smaller ones. The last M&A was quite negative and it didn't see the reaction it gave kind of an indication that the market doesn't really want to see that. That definitely puts some pressure, supports the dollar, which is one of the biggest competitors to the gold price. I think the Fed is concerned about inflation, but they are more concerned about deflation. So my belief is even though there might be a period of deflationary forces, they'll come back and react in a very inflationary way.
