The Role of Soul in Evolution

Socrates was supposed to be talking about the Republic, but it wasn't actually written to our knowledge. Critius is a later version of this dialogue that's only partly done like from nature to society. In the Republic you had the forms on shadows; everything else is just the real thing. The soul has a nature of rotating, just like the planets going around. So the entire universe ends up being an organism because it has a soul and all these individual entities have souls as well.
