In 1930s still, the shed aquarium opened with no water in their tanks on Thanksgiving Day in America. Even just the plate glass was wondrous to people. People had never seen underwater. This was not a visual that they were used to. It should make you realize how amazing it is, the things that we can keep alive in tanks.
