The Importance of Nick Hakim
The first two EPs were largely recorded at Berkeley. "I'm so indebted to everything that he has taught me and that we have done together," singer says of friend Nick Akim. Both records took on average two years to finish. The song Heaven was a super, like coincidentally a super religious experience listening to that demo because Nick will admit this himself.
