I think that the higher education in the United States has sort of been taken over by this neoliberal business model. And I, you know, I think that there's all of this administrative bloat. A lot of young people go into a good university like the one that I teach at for instance, with the idea that this is like they're burnishing their personal brand. That education is a very individual thing for each person to take what they can from and then go out and become "good little capitalist workers"
