Investing in Private Companies Is Like a Casino
We have this need, this this lottery ticket cindrum for finding unicorns. But in reality, these private companies act in a similar way. You just don't see em priced every day. Some lot of theml go to zero, some of themwill do ok, and some ell do really well. And when you're investing in these asset classes, don't laugh, but sometimes, if structured the right way, even though you're investing up, an company can be creating an interesting income stream down the line.
