Coin Base and the SEC
The SEC has served coin base with a Wells notice, notifying the company that they intend to pursue charges against them related to unregistered securities and their staking program. This is setting up to be probably like a two year fight if I had to guess. Coin base is one of the most well-heeled and well-organized possible opponents here. If they do plan to contest this, you couldn't have a better champion from the crypto industry's perspective.
