I will end affirmative action as US president. It came into existence by executive order under Lyndon Johnson. I'm a little disappointed that other Republicans haven't stepped up to the plate and done it. Every one of the Republican presidents since Johnson could have done it, they didn't. For fear of political backlash. To the contrary, one of the first things I'll do in this one is easy. Just cross the line. And so, you know, I hope we talk more through the course of this,. but that gives you a taste of how I'm thinking about things.
