Timothy Stanley: I think the geopolitics of energy are a really important thing to understand in relationship to biodynamics. He says when Biden was running for president, there were explicit commitments about eliminating all manner of fossil fuel subsidies. And part of that is Manchin, who is dug in in his opposition to anything that will threaten fossil interests from the start, he says. Stanley: But then it also is affected by the Ukraine war but in some paradoxical way. It affects Manchin's thinking in ways that don't often get discussed.
Featuring Daniela Gabor, Ted Fertik, and Tim Sahay on Bidenomics. We define and debate the new American industrial policy, the energy transition, the New Cold War with China—and more.
