The Interaction Between the Law and the Law Requiring That Companies Have at Least One Woman on Their Board
There's a weird interaction between this law and the law requiring that companies have at least one woman on their board. What's to stop someone from simply raising their hand and saying, okay, I identify as a woman, put me on the board? And now you have a board composed possibly of all males who have fraudulently put up their hands saying that we're females. Now we have a 100% female board. You can see where both of these things are actually reasonable enough given the inputs that we're looking at but they may well conflict at the end of the story.
