How to Start a Pool Route Business

The funny thing about pool businesses is that there's not very many big players. There's a lot of small players who are perfectly good at cleaning pools, but don't know how to run a business because they're customers. So it's pretty easy to compete against those guys by just doing those common sense things and being friendly. As far as selling the routes go, I think there's a lucrative business there. You can actually sell these routes for what seems like more than most service industry businesses. Because it's recurring.
