While actually having sex with Children was supposedly discouraged, one of the letters Berg and his wife sent to his followers in 1985 reads: "I think as Children before the girls start menstruating ... that's their opportunity to have all the sex they want" It doesn't even seem like anyone else in the cult questioned this, judging by the documentaries retelling of events.
