Is Mary the Mother of God?

Pastor Gino Jennings rejects that Mary is the mother of God because he does not believe that Jesus was always God. He seems to hold an adoptionist view that there was this human being named Jesus that the spirit of God went into. It's very confusing, but there can never be under the oneness view. You can't have the father, son and Holy Spirit be three distinct persons,. each of which is equally divine.
