The East-West Divide in Ukraine
I think you could draw rough contours around an East-West divide, which is also understandable, especially from a Ukrainian perspective. There was some criticism of Zelensky coming into the summit of his brusque nature but he's coming from an environment where missiles and rockets are falling on his citizens every day. Ukraine is under a very different circumstance with rockets and missiles raining down on them so they have a different sense of urgency. And perhaps they don't think about saying thanks in that moment, but it really isn't upon them to give thanks either.
