"I was not only charmed, I was very moved. Here was a woman, part of the ordinary masses of Nigerians who were not supposed to be readers," she says. "Every time I'm home I'm confronted by the usual sources of irritation for most Nigerians." Her nonprofit Fair of Fiend of Trust has big dreams of building libraries and refurbishing libraries that already exist.
