The World Economy Is Improving, Is It?

The outlook was for last year for the global economy to be weak. Now, I think there's the markets are signaling that the plunge in natural gas prices in Europe suggested Europe may not have a recession after all. And now with China abandoning the COVID policy opening up, there's a perception that we may get a terrible wave of the pandemic for a few months but then it should have bait and China should open. The Fed recognizes and is embarrassed by the fact that they made a mistake at the end of 2021 and early 22,. And I think they're trying to make up for that mistake by possibly making another mistake.
