I've Had a Lot of Success With Messaging the Marriott App
I've had decent success again with getting upgrades by just emailing in advance and explaining what it is that I'm hoping for. If the place is packed and fully sold out, then I know I'm not going to get an upgrade. Hyatt tends to be pretty good about their elite benefits. But like Greg said last week, there's still variants from property to property in terms of which properties are good at elite recognition.
