There are a number of libraries out there merging that help with this. You might want to see something like, you know, this column that used to have a lot of values as now null all the time. A other examples are libraries that will also take a difference foso. So i worked on a system called maco base at stanford at tries to find anomalous groups and data basically just combinations of attributes where they changed a lot. These can help as well.
