The Importance of Private Education in Sydney
New data suggests a private education in Sydney nudging half a million dollars. The kids who might be going to a majority indigenous school somewhere in the outback can cost as much as $30,000 or more a year to educate. And yet we don't provide that kind of funding. That's one of the reasons why the schools they attend don't have the resources they need to be able to do their job adequately. It just entrenches generational privilege and underprivileged.
