The Benefits of a Full Body Split

Full body split allows you to train a body part every day if you want to because you are only doing a couple three probably four sets per day. It would be hard to do that with multiple major muscle groups with any other type of split and otherwise, I don't think there's anything special about the full body split. Three full body workouts per week is simply not going to provide enough volume for each major muscle group to continue gaining muscle and strength so frequency has to go up.
