i was actually shocked at how well it worked. Man, i couldn't stop laughing at the kid. I didn't immediately think that he was part of the monster that's going to come at the end. Just kept paying attention to all those little, like, touchstones that will be important later. The meeting of jeffrey and harper is also sort of a demonstration of theof the clash between, sort of, like a more rural, countryside, sort of traditional sensibility of like, masculine and feminiity.
