CHAPTER

Is There a Humanistic Approach to Identity?

i would like a world in which we didn't think star typically about a person just based on knowledge of the color of their skin, or even their gender. I mean, i'm sure you've bumped into my friends, colman hughes and camil sta. And these are people who would readily say that they are not hopelessly disfranchised and disadvantaged because of the colour of their skin. That's far too simplitic. We all have our challenges. If we're going to break things down on identitarian lines and favor some people over other people, then i think you're opening a pandora's box.
